   I am surprised by the negative reviews from individuals who seem to struggle with following basic instructions. Insert the probe, wait a short moment for the readings, then remove it from the soil and wipe it clean with a towel. I hope these individuals never have to take a dog’s temperature, as they may inadvertently leave a thermometer inserted in the poor animal’s rectum indefinitely.

   This tool is essential for maintaining healthy plants. I use it once a week to check if the soil is too dry or not. When I soak my plants in water, I leave it inserted so I can remove them on time. This set of two is very appealing due to its price and quality. I highly recommend it.

    Upon receiving these meters, I found that they are best suited for monitoring the moisture level of desert plants like cacti and succulents that require bone-dry soil before watering. Contrary to what some reviews claim, these meters are not designed to detect pure water, but rather water with impurities. I conducted experiments using different liquids and soil to understand their functionality better.
