   I wish the plant had been watered before shipping or that the pot had been wrapped more securely to prevent any water loss. Despite losing a few wilted yellow leaves at the bottom, the newer leaves that are unfurling arrived unharmed. Overall, it is still a beautiful plant.

   Initially, I attempted to cancel my order, but Amazon did not process the cancellation. Surprisingly, I am thankful they didn’t because the plant I received is absolutely gorgeous. It appears to be healthy and larger than expected. I am very pleased with it and would definitely consider purchasing from this vendor again in the future.

   The plant’s leaves may not be large or mature enough to show the bright white veining characteristic of a Frydek, but it is evident that it is indeed a Frydek. The plant is lush and healthy, actually consisting of three separate plants. The leaves are a stunning glossy green velvet. The packaging was excellent, and the plant was shipped from Florida to North Carolina in just 2 days, with a slight delay at the local post office before final delivery.    I was thrilled to receive this plant in such a healthy and happy condition, with the whitest roots I’ve ever seen! The packaging was excellent. Although this was my first order from Rooted, I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future. If you’re considering it, I highly recommend purchasing this alocasia frydek!
