   The plant arrived in excellent condition. Although the instructions recommended watering immediately, the soil was already moist, likely from the journey to its new home. I waited until the soil dried before watering, and now my plant is thriving!

   The plant has a unique charm despite its imperfections. I had expected lush, healthy leaves, but unfortunately, many were brown, torn, and appeared sickly. While it was disappointing to lose around 5 leaves, I believe it still offers good value for the price.

   I was initially intrigued by this plant, but after a week in isolation, I started noticing some strange damage. I checked the moisture and humidity levels to eliminate those as potential causes, then examined the soil and found a few rotten roots. Upon closer inspection of the leaves with a magnifying glass, I discovered tiny white moving spots – thrips! I am currently battling these pests and hoping they haven’t spread to my other plants.    I took a chance ordering this plant online, but it arrived in excellent condition and was easy to unpack. After letting it acclimate to my climate on the porch for a few days, I watered it and then transferred it to a larger pot with fresh soil. I also cleaned the leaves to remove any water spots. The original pot is not suitable for long-term use as the plant will outgrow it quickly. I repotted it into a larger container (see photo) and placed it in my office where it can receive indirect…
