   I am having great success with this plant in my dimly lit apartment by using some affordable LED grow lights as supplemental lighting. If you have windows that let in some natural light, you’re all set. The grow lights I am using are just standard fixtures, nothing fancy, and my Ficus plant is thriving.    The product appears to be fine, but I have noticed that the leaves are falling excessively. Additionally, there were no specific instructions provided for caring for a ficus plant. I am unsure of the correct way to water it as the water just rolls right off.

   The bonsai I received was in excellent condition and packed well. It appears healthy, although I was slightly disappointed that it doesn’t resemble the photos provided at all. Unlike the pictured items with longer trunks, mine seems to have branches growing out of a short, bulbous stump. It gives the appearance of the top and bottom portions of the tree connecting without a distinct trunk in between.    The plant arrived in good condition with quality bonsai soil. After watering it, I noticed an immediate improvement in its appearance the next morning. It already has moss growing on it and features a split trunk. I am very pleased with the purchase!
