   Upon receiving the product, I was surprised by how large the block of coco coir was. I was aware that it expands in water, so I decided to use it in an 11 gallon black plastic tote for growing a lions mane mushroom mycelium block. After unwrapping the double plastic packaging, I placed it in the tote and started hydrating it with water, breaking apart saturated sections with a spork.
