Overall, I have always been impressed by Jobes products. However, Jobes Organic, which is made with feather meal and fish meal, resembles and smells like organic dog treats. Unfortunately, my dog Fannie was able to locate and consume all of my newly planted delicate plants with great care. I really appreciate that these slow-release fertilizers last for 3 months. I apply them at the start of the growing season and then again after 3 months for my tomatoes. I simply love their effectiveness.

I spent $400 on compost for my garden, only to find out that it was ineffective when I tested a soil sample. However, after using these fertilizer stakes on my tomatoes, peppers, peas, squash, and eggplants, I have seen a significant growth spurt. My tomatoes no longer have yellow leaves, a sign that they are now receiving the nutrients they need. I highly recommend this product. Before purchasing compost, I suggest running a soil test.
