   This product is high-quality LECA clay pebbles. I suggest rinsing them with clean water before use, preferably rinsing multiple times, soaking them, and then rinsing again before adding to your plant container.

   I used this product as a drainage layer in my crested gecko’s terrarium. It works really well and is much more affordable than products specifically marketed for terrariums. Since my gecko doesn’t come into direct contact with this layer, it functions perfectly.

   Nature has a way of dealing with bacteria efficiently. I have never used any other type of “ball” before, but these clay balls are amazing at collecting dirt and grime. Just toss them out and you’re good to go. I have had no problems at all.

   I bought these Leca for my orchids, but they might be useful for other plants too. I was expecting them to be small cylindrical clay balls based on the picture, but what I received was a mixture of cylindrical shapes and irregular rocks, labeled as “expanded clay rocks.” If you’re looking for uniformity, this product may not meet your expectations. It was intriguing to see that when soaked in water before use, they initially floated. I’m unsure whether to consider them pebbles or rocks due…

   I was searching for clay pellets with a smaller diameter compared to many brands available. These pellets met my criteria and were more affordable than other options on the market.
