   I admit I was initially skeptical about ordering an orchid from Amazon, but I needed a quick sympathy gift so I decided to take a chance. The orchid arrived in just one day, well-packaged and looking exactly like the picture in the ad. It had two stems with some blooms already open and others still in bud form.    This plant is absolutely stunning and definitely worth the investment. It arrived in impeccable condition, securely packed in a tall box. The stems measured 29” and 32” in height and were placed in a lovely pot. Despite being shipped in 90-degree heat, the plant survived the journey and delivery. The soil still had a slight moisture content upon arrival. After nearly a month, the plant is thriving. I water it once a week using 3 ice cubes and lightly mist the flowers daily.

   I recently ordered an orchid as a gift for a special friend and I was very pleased with my purchase. I had confidence in buying from Amazon because a niece had sent me one before. The delivery was perfect and I really appreciated the ‘how to’ care instructions that came with it. Following the advice to mist it daily not only helped the orchid thrive, but it even bloomed again after the initial blooms had faded. In fact, it has now gone through a third blooming cycle! Awesome experience!

   I purchased this as a gift and it arrived promptly, exactly as depicted in the picture. The plant was healthy and robust, with beautiful blooms that opened up. The person who received the gift was delighted with it.
