   I combine this product with a commercial cactus mix to create a suitable potting blend for my Desert Roses (adenium). The standard Miracle Gro perlite tends to be too fine and dusty for my plants, requiring sifting before use. Thankfully, I appreciate the convenience of being able to order this product online.

   I originally purchased a large bag of Vigoro perlite from a big box store, but found the pieces to be small and dusty, which wasn’t ideal for my soil mix. Consequently, I decided to order a bag of coarse perlite from Amazon in hopes of finding a better ingredient. While the Amazon bag was smaller and more costly than the Vigoro bag, the perlite pieces were large and clean, meeting my needs perfectly.
